Also look out for emails from mobile providers asking for bill payment...double check and don't click the links until you are certain it's your provider! I've had three so far. Also emails (two so far) from Am@zon saying all your data has been erased...again don't click the link, it's a scam!

I have the reading page set up on my emails so I can read the content before I click on it; even so I have an intuit as to whether they are real or a scam just by the way they are written or how they come over when read.

It's not just Nigerian princes who can't spell or use good good grammar. This was received from darkest Wallington!

Why are they all reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post ?
Suppose it is a bit obvious as it starts "Hi," no offical bunch would start out with that, they would all address it to the person by surname and appropriate title - Mr, Mrs, Ms etc.

I get loads of rubbish spammy stuff, I even laughed when I got an email from British Gas saying as a customer I'd won a box of chocolates in a monthly prize draw.

How I laughed..... then yesterday a box of chocolates turned up.!

I sometimes get offers for a gas boiler or other related stuff. We don't have gas in our area!
