A few weeks ago I did a marathon (for me) session of digging. First time this season. After a few days I had recovered and did another shorter session with a lot less soreness.
As I get older the recovery time gets longer but after a little while I feel like I'm a lot younger again.
I know the idea of doing a little and doing it often but seems like I need to stick with something more demanding all year long so I don't get so messed up each spring.
Any tips other than starting slow each spring? (And please don't tell me to join a gym. I hate the gym.) Would some Jameson whiskey be a good pain reliever?
