Had a storm at 11am stopped by midday and was dried out by 1pm with the blazing sun back again. Still had to do some watering tonight. Not complaining though, as I did have a lazy morning before the storm eating ice cream and watching the girls splashing about in the paddling pool

Beans, Yacon, alliums, brassicas, lettuce, skirret, potatoes, etc apparently survived the hailstones. Except the bee watch dahlias which are a mangled mass of torn leaves and broken stems.

                        Will they pull through?

My plants are starting to droop due to lack of promised thiunderstorm. Been waiting 3 days now.

Maybe if I get the hosepipe out, spend half an hour wrestling with it and getting frustrated trying to attatch it to the water container...it'll start pouring down?
That's more likely to work than a rain dance I guess?

We obviously got it all. Parts of Dublin city centre were flooded yesterday and the trains had to stop running due to so much water on the track.
Having said that, my garden has come back to life again and I put out all the buckets and contaibers that I could find sbd theyre all filled.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
