It's raining

First rain just started here. Just as I was going to plant out courgettes.

The rain clouds seem to divert just north of us each time!....still got fingers crossed.....

No rain had here.... very windy yesterday, it really rocked my courgettes about.

Rain (storm) is forecast here about midnight tonight.

Haven't had proper rain for so many weeks now. Everything is parched at the allotment and plants have stopped growing.... keeping my fingers crossed for a good downpour tomorrow.

Massively humongous storm passed us by last night...lots of distant flashes, but not a drop of sploshy stuff.
Ah well!
At least it was stunningly beautiful to watch and someone else's garden got a thourough watering!

A noisy storm overnight, according to weather station it dropped 6.3 mm of rain - better than nothing I suppose

I've just cleaned the velux windows, and it's started drizzling!

Maybe I should hang the washing out and water the tubs?

Barely rained here this morning. Thought it was going to mess up my plans for the holiday but it suddenly quit. That's okay. We've had enough rain lately.

Everything is looking very green and lush in Dorset. We had a huge storm on Thursday night/Friday morning with masses of rain, then heavy showers yesterday and more downpours (and another storm) overnight. No fear of drought here for the time being.
