  • Locked out of paypal

I have just received a text message to inform me that I have been locked out of PayPal, this would be worrying if I wanted to pay something, but I would think I would have to be with PayPal for me to do that, or have money that I could pay someone
I am joking about that but what about people that actually use this system I have been provided with a number to call where I can correct my details. IF YOU ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE DETAILS FOR PAYPAL CONTACT THEM FIRST ON A VERIFIABLE NUMBER
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sounds like a scam message, rary. Ignore it!

Did they address you by name (and I don't mean rary!)

I get email ones of those, several. Part of me keeps wanting to send a reply saying "Go ahead I don't care, delete me!!"

I do not have a Paypal account, never have had one and cannot see me ever getting one. So even if genuine one by accident from Paypal I would not care at all either.

Have had a couple from banks that I also don't have accounts with.

Worst thing is they are not even amusing.

No VC they addressed my with my mobile phone number, I no its not a genuine message as I do not give my mobile number out to companies, my phones are for my use not for people to annoy me, its the same with my email address, again I only disclose it when I am getting a service that I want or to friends.

I'm glad you recognised it as a scam, if I get spam/hoax tests my phone provider blocks them for free when I forward the text to a specific text number.

I get hoax PayPal emails all the while.
