Who is MOM for August? Have I missed the announcement, or am I being a bit previous? Just interested and want to say congratulations to whoever it may be.

The new Mom is normally announced during the second week of the month, with the publication of the GYO newsletter. It doesn't actually run with the Month so to speak. So there should be an announcement in the next couple of days.~
Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

It's an accolade given to one of the Grapevine members each month, who the moderators/admin consider to have given lots of particularly good advice or been generally excellent in some respect. Not necessarily to volume of posts, more the quality. Mods, have I got that right?

According to the email I got from GYO August's MOM is Paulottie. Things aren't going smoothly at the mo!
