  • A Quick Hello from Shortie and New Arrival

    Hello!

For those Grapes who remember me I wanted to pop my head in and say a quick 'Hi' from me and the new arrival, who came an unexpected 3 weeks early on the 31st August . Little boy, named Bradley weighing in at 7lb on the dot (oddly, he's 6 ounces heavier than my other little one who was only two days early )

Sorry I've not been around for a while, work had been pants and I've been trying to get my head down and sort out our finances etc. Fuuuunnn (not). Oh, and with the help of my Mum I FINALLY got on top of my garden at home - yeaaaahhhhhh

And you know the thought that popped into my head when I was laying on the hospital bed the night I gave birth? "Ooooo... I'll be able to get back down the lottie while I'm still in the growing season"

I'm at the in-laws at the mo, but when I'm back home on Sunday (depending what time I get home that is....) I'll post a quick piccie as I have a good one on my laptop readily resized in Picasa.

    Take care all

Congratulations Shortie, am sure we'll hear from you again soon. Glad you're both doing OK although am guessing you're lacking sleep either that or you're managing time travel. Was little Bradley born 31 JULY by any chance rather than August????

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Congratulations Shortie, and welcome to Bradley. You said he was born 31st August, I presume you mean July? Whatever, welcome to the world, Bradley. I hope you get interested in gardening, like your Mum.

You're a lucky girl Shortie as Bradley will be a winner! all the best people are born on 31st July . I wonder what the world will be like in 68 years time when he reaches my age?
Give him an extra cuddle from me us 31sters have to stick together
It's not the growing old I mind but the growing stupid with it!

Congratulations Shortie, I wondered where you had gone. Hope that the 'Little Man' is behaving himself and that you are getting some sleep.

Congratulations on the new arrival Shortie
(Bet you're glad he didn't hang on for another 3 weeks - that'd be another lb or so??!!)
Hope you're managing to snatch some rest while you're @ the in-laws.
