Retirement is great, don't know how I ever had time to work really.
Busier, but with any jobs that we want to do, no boss, no worries about holidays or anything
It's just a shame that you know you're at the other end of your life.

I'm 63 and retired on Saturdays and Sundays and after 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays. I get up when I want, which is usually between 4:00 to 5:00 am, and go to bed when I want, which is usually around 9:30 pm.

Monday through Friday I do what I want until 8:00 am, between 12:30 and 1:30 pm, and after 5:00 pm.

I may change my mind later but right now I'm retired enough. It's sort of a transition period for me. I figure that I'll feel like retiring when I hit 70 or maybe 75 ... or 80.

I'm lucky to have a job I enjoy.
