  • Our new arrivals

These three little chaps (you can just about see the third at the back) arrived today.

So that makes one rabbit, two guinea pigs and three kittens. Oh and three humans.

I'll try and get a better pic for you all.

They're gorgeous!!! I couldn't be without cats now that I've had them. We've got a one year old and are adopting our new baby kitty on Friday - if you'll let me, I'll steal a corner of your thread and post a piccy

They are currently confined to the kitchen and lobby (vinyl and tile flooring). We had intended to get two but got three as they are all brothers and when we went to see them we struggled to find a way to describe the one we weren't taking. I was just about to say to our neighbour whose family we got them from that we might as well take all three when Mr EB walked and said pretty much the same thing word for word.

They have been named Smokey (Quartz - although we haven't told Miss EB this bit as she has named him for the cat we lost two years ago), Carnelian and (Yellow) Jasper.

Lovely kitties Earthbabe. Nice names but I can't imagine standing on the step calling out 'Carnelian, come & get your supper puss'!

I have cats called Sebastian and Montgomery -Sebbie and Monty! I wanted something posh but old fashioned for when they get their names called out at the vets! I'm sure carnelian will be shortened, though i see your point SueA

Sirius - feel free. We have had a thread of members' dogs so why not members' cats.

Sue A - don't worry Carnelian has already been shortened to Carny especially as Miss EB can't quite her tongue round Carnelian yet.

Moggssue - strangely one of the girls at work exactly the same thing and yet I'll post some more pics in due course.

Wonderful kittens! TOH will have my hide if I get more animals though

Still my cats are about 5 1/2 now, so they have given up running up the curtains and just jump onto worktops and windowsills to see what they can knock over!

                            Lovely, if totally neurotic!

All two children, three hens and your average busy life........
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

Are they little gingers Earthbabe, you never seem to get ginger 'girl' cats do you, always ginger toms, they're very pretty. Carny will probably the 'carnivorous' one & bring lots of little mice as presents to your door!
