as much as I hate to say it, autumn has a pretty side.

I like the boat house, I'd be fishing all day if that wee loch was up here

the beauty of it is that it is stocked with largely 2/3 lb rainbows then every now and then you hit into a much larger wild brown

Yesterday evening, as the sun went down, the trees in the distance glowed orange and yellow. On the hillside to the north, the trees cast long shadows that stretched out across the fields like fingers while, to the south, the city buildings sparkled as the sun touched the windows. The air was so clear, I could see across the Bristol Channel and pick out the houses on the English Coast, bathed in the evening sunlight.
It is, indeed, a glorious time of year and I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy all this without leaving home.
