Thanks VC, just looked at met-office and it says partly cloudy for us, so there's a chance I'll get to see something.

the December 3 full moon will be relatively close to Earth and will appear about seven percent larger and 16 percent brighter than usual.
                  according to National Geographic.

                  I'm excited

Moon's is peeping out through the trees
Seems a bit shy..............probably because we're expecting something much bigger than normal, especially Thelma

I really hope it can counteract the appalling light that a local housing association has put up on one of their buildings. It looks like a spotlight and shines straight into my bedroom window.

I been popping outside to see if it had arrived and no sign of it. Sky news just said it won't be visible 'til about 12pm.. I think I'll be asleep by then

I just popped out to look and there it is, shining away in an almost cloudless sky - with a few stars!!
So that's the real Sky news, none of this studio stuff.
It doesn't look all that big though, I've seen a lot bigger ones in my time

When I woke at about 3.30am it was very bright in the garden, no lights required! Beautiful
