Significantly milder this morning, so I might even venture outside today. Got a new Bunnings store in town so may have a look in there today.

Opened the first window on my Advent Calendar today....a chocolate roller skate mmmm....

Great Advent Calendars on here too Bren and BM ( thank you both!)...tis the first thing I looked at when I came onto the Vine this morning...what with the snow falling outside....all very festive

More sewing today and a bit of glueing, ready for another weekend of Xmas Fairs.

Anyone got time/snow this weekend to start off the snow creation entries?
Mine has near enough melted...just a tad left on the roof, and I'm not clambering in there to make a snowman!!!!!!

1/2 lb isn't much NS....tis a very, very difficult time of year just to hold your weight never mind lose it!
We'll make sure there are loads of no calorie foods and drinks at the GR...at least you know you can pig out there

Good evening a cold sunny day today but again unable to get into the garden, though I did saw up some wood, first thing I had to do this morning was fill the bird feeder, then after breakfast it was down to the physio. dept. at the hospital with my OH she is really struggling with this as after it is finished she is quite sore, but ever helpful I take her out for lunch and to give her some light exercise I let her pay for it opening her purse will build up her shoulder muscles, no I am getting mixed up with her purse and my wallet. Any way once back home I had to fill the bird feeder again which shows that the birds rely need fed when its very cold, we had the boys after school and then one out to the beavers, then picked him up as I was dropping the other off for the cubs, my daughter picked him up when she was dropping her youngest off for the scouts, as I was busy doing a repair to our granddaughters wardrobe, I am now at my sons house where we are having a sleepover, he and DiL are at a works night out and it is now easier up staying in his house than the boys coming down to us though listening to them I think they will want to come down to us the next time. well thats the weekend started, but dont get too stressed about it it only lasts two days then you can get back to enjoying yourselves, remember pass on a smile. Goodnight

Nowhere, absolutely Nowhere, and that includes Ayrshire, is out of reach of my broom
However, I'm excusing you because you are old and need to be humoured
Tree work is finished, just a load of clearing up to do tomorrow. There's enough ash to keep the home fires burning for a good while, a pile of wood chippings to spread and a lot more light in the garden.
Even better news, I offloaded the remaining purple spuds on the treemen
