Heavy rain in my part of Hampshire, was -2 when I went to bed, it's +3.3 now.

So not disappointed it's not snow!

Cause hubby's banned from snowy garden, it still looks lovely
Going to take a picture in a minute and then it can go away thank you very much
Good job we managed to get some shopping in yesterday
Hope Mrs Cad gets some more help quick
So, nothing planned, going to spend the day doing house chores ......

Bacon n egg butties this morning!....cor...found some of the very finely cut type you wrap around festive sausages or prunes...yippee!...might get a few more in to stock up!

Very, very windy here with loads of sploshy stuff.

From nowhere we suddenly have really strong winds and temp has shot up 4 degrees

morning/afternoon,ti's gently snowing,am debating wether to go out for milk now,instead of tomoz,we we supposed to have more of the stuff,and am thinking,better the devil you know,i could walk it,but safer in the car,plus not lugging it back,i bet MR will say no,but sometimes,needs must,look afterUselves and beware of others.

Well the outdoor Christmas tree lives to see another year after some serious searching and the magic touch of the soldering iron. SWMBO says it all has to be done for when she can get downstairs again. Me I would say stuff all the decoration and ornaments apart from the tree in the living room, but the wife being elf height has to live in Santa's Grotto during December and the new year.

Happy Sunday. This has been one of those rare sunless days, instead its been snow then sleet then rain then sleet then snow again.
I've spent much of today with the moving neighbours who are due to be packed tomorrow and off to Edinburgh via a hotel in Cumbria on Tuesday. Not the best of weather for a long drive - 3 adults, a wheelchair and all the necessary medication for a 3 night stay in a "posh hotel". There's so little room in the car that their clothes for the stay are in black bin bags!! They'll look like a couple of tramps.
I'll be back with them tomorrow. Its much easier being ruthless with other people's clutter than with your own. Its been a good lesson in clearing out stuff while you're still able to do so. I must be ruthless with myself next!

VC,thats what i have said,some has already gon,much more to do,the attic is the place to start,MR been a bit upset abput all the old magz years old stuff going,he is not even wanting to look through them again,so hey up recycle bin,i have said,it's better WE go through stuff than the family,plus if we ever decide to move,it should be a lot easier,i love a clear out,but hate to see thigs wasted,so hello charity shops to some,i got shopping done,most cars were polite,not many peeps out though,tommorrow maybe will be icy ,we live on a long straight road,and most cars think its a air strip,if am out there and 1 is going to fast,i signal them to slow down,not that they take any notice,my blood boils,glad you got the tree sorted cad,santas grotto will booster her seratonin blesss her,those that are out on the roads be carefull.

Only went out to church.
Daughter and g daughter came for lunch and stayed for the afternoon.
No snow, just rained a bit.

Good evening, its has been cold here all day was -6c in the greenhouse overnight but by the time going to church it was up to -4c but never got above -0 though it was a sunny day, fortunately there is no or very little snow here, though the Arran hills have some if I am over toward the coast again soon I will take a photo and post it, was going to go out to the greenhouse for a time but there was to many moans about how cold it is. Well keep warm and safe pass on smileGoodnight

Hey rary, took a photo of Arran on the way home today, on my phone so not particularly good but not bad. Hope it turns out ok.



Boy was it cold, -8 on the Fenwick Moor and thick freezing fog through Glasgow and along the M8...still the idiot racing along as though it was a perfect driving day! It looks like a Christmas card out there just now. My daughter in Cheltenham has had a load of snow today and she's loving it...I'm a tad envious.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend...off to catch up on what I've missed. 😀

Morning Crew will the forecast ice didn't happen which pleased my youngest daughter, she only had to contend with wet window coverings this morning before going to work. Shame Mrs C woke up at 4:00 and needed help another 40 minutes and it would have been DD waking up time anyway.
