Morning, you lucky lot with the snow...we had a little flurry then nothing but it's still freezing! Bought our tree yesterday, all done and looking good, even if I say so myself. This is the earliest I've had the tree up ever.
Taking my mum to hospital today for her first course of radiotherapy so I'm glad there is no snow here, hopefully it will stay that way at least until I get back home again.
Glad hubby doesn't have any broken ribs NS, hope he feels better soon.

NS...when I broke my ribs a hotwater bottle helped tremendously...worth a try?
He very much has my sympathy.
I fell onto my camera with the sticky out lens part facing inwards!...ouch!
I can only imagine his will be just as painful...xx

Seems we are surrounded by snow, but none here.......yet, due to travel north tomorrow for an early Christmas with my family at my sons place, don't think we will get there this weekend sadly.

Morning again, lost 1lb today. Very happy with any loss now
Doctor was supposed to call hubby, ref getting a prescription of decent painkillers. He's still waiting.
Mind you, he is up on his feet again, pottering around.
Thanks for all your sympathies, he feels so sorry for himself.

Afternoon all, yes I'm really late but there again what do you expect when suddenly Mrs C is unable to stand from the tipping chair and would not allow me to lift her until our daughter arrived home from her Christmas Do at 1 in the morning.

We had to woman handle her to the stair lift , loo and then finally into bed. She was in so much pain despite medication that she was restless and finally between 4:00 to 4:30 in the morning I managed to turn her in bed and get her into a position where she was semi comfortable but laying diagonally from corner to corner of the bed.

I came downstairs and kipped on the settee as there was no room for me to get back into bed. I woke up at 9:45 when she started to move and moan again.
