Thanks for the kind thought guys, I had to go and do an inspection this afternoon, I was lucky that it was local and I picked up some shopping on the way back. Only gone for 2hours 15minutes but walked back in the door to hear Mrs C sobbing her heart out as she was frustrated that she could not sit up on the edge of the bed.

We've had sner. It hasn't settled but it's cold. I don't do cold.

Best Frock time again, just wish I could get back to sleep after dealing with Mrs C in the early hours, I'm so knackered but can't get back to sleep....

-2C at the moment with a crunchy, frozen cm of solid snow.
Looks so pretty
Drove home at midnight on sheets of black ice. Not fun on steep twisty country lanes with tight bends with 3ft drainage ditches on both sides of the road!

Still no boiler pump...maybe by next Wednesday? Thank goodness for the wood fires!

No snow here yet, I think we should be alright in London
Mr is feeling a lot better, walking around in a drug induced haze. At least it allows him to sleep.
Doctor says he's definately broken a few ribs, so had given him 50 strong painkillers.
Daughter has put me at ease with offers of help with shopping, hospital appointments, but hopefully we will manage by ourselves.
