Again good afternoon, it has been a nice warm sunny day today, so was out working in the back garden, got quite a lot done but unfortunately at the end was in a bit of a rush as getting near time to collect boys from school and instead of securing a bit of wood I was cutting with a power saw properly I was holding it, no problem normally but hit a knot with the saw which caused the wood to kick, which in turn took the top of my finger, so dropped everything and into the house where I washed my hands and cleaned the wound with vinegar, (when OH saw the blood she left the kitchen) wrapped a dod of kitchen roll around it and went back out to put everything past, then back into the house, and what did I get, sympathy, no chance it was "Look at the state of those clothes, standing there covered in sawdust" I then showed her my finger, which with the pressure off started bleeding again, and because I am hot was bleeding quite freely, oh she said I thought it was just a wee cut as you went back outside, so had to head to the clinic to get it dressed, and of course I had to change before going out "You can't go out dressed like that" I was told, women always get their priorities right the other thing that annoyed me was that my first aid box was about empty, at one time I had everything I should need but five grandchildren seem to need everything you have. The one good thing is I have to keep the dressing dry, the nurse gave me a pair of latex gloves to wear, but I told her they wouldn't fit, so she said try a glove on you good hand, and I couldn't get it on as they don't make gloves big enough for normal hands (I need extra large which they don't make or are hard to come by) so no dish washing for me, I think it will need to last for about a month, the down side is I can't do any gardening, well not while OH is watching

Evening to all...Busy week end for me...Back coaching the kids (6 year olds) at soccer for my sins... Travelling for work again but not as exotic as my last location... good old London this time..
kids were not happy when they heard I was off again...Only a couple of days tho..I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
