  • Good evening, a nice day today but was at a theater for an afternoon show so didn't get any gardening done, just going out to light my fire as there is a light frost forecasted.

Perhaps I should keep my light off and see if that keeps the frost away

          • Mornings, it feels mild, but still grey and miserable looking.

I put kettle on and started taking seedlings out to the greenhouse, but much cat howling and screeching started from indoors Some 'orrible ginger cat had decided to go indoors and help himself to Mollycat's breakfast! Oh my goodness - such bad cat language I haven't heard in a long while.
With the help of the broom the miscreant was evicted, now poor Molly is a quiver and hiding in the corner. Sadly, it'll take her a day or 2 to settle down again, after that.

A wonderful start to the day then

              • Morning all, grey and overcast here. Not too cold though
Had a very rare night out last night. Came home well after 12. Past my bedtime.
I can see an afternoon snooze coming on.

                  • Good morning all.
Beautiful sunny morning here. We are being spoiled here, that's two in a row.
Off to church shortly and then hopefully some time in the garden.
                    Have a good day all.

                      • Gloomy and grey here today. And am finding it hard to settle down to work, as per usual.

Have just had a nice chat with one of the locals about urea, which he wants to put on the fields up valley of us and came to ask it if was OK with us. What can you say but yes? But nice to be asked.

Hope you all have a good day.

                        • Afternoon n'alln'all
Sorry....we rushed off to a couple of Vide greniers ( car boots ) early this morning and not been back long!
Lovely and sunny with some warmth...I could get used to that!

Yesterday I managed 30 mins weeding and chopping back...with no ill effects!...yippee!
(Only about another 4000 hrs to catch up on!)

Food to cook now -we have guests arriving in a couple of hours...see ya later-enjoy the rest of the weekend! (Oh...and yes -we remembered to change the clocks...but Hibou didn't)

                          • We had a lovely day here.
Spent the afternoon doing garden and greenhouse related bits and pieces.
The potatoes and Sweet peas are ready and waiting for suitable weather to plant them out.
The tomato and pepper plants are growing steadily now.
                            Dahlia seeds have terminated.
Buds on my gooseberry bushes, raspberry canes and plum trees.
Just need some warm weather now to get the growing season underway,
Enjoy the rest of the weekend all.

                            • Home from Birmingham. Dropped in on my eldest on the way back. Now sat down with a nice glass of muscadet. I went expecting to buy one or two expensive items. Couldn’t get served, their loss. I bought a few minor items. I’m beginning to wish i’d stayed at home and enjoyed the lovely weather. I haven’t eaten today so i’m defrosting some sausages. Bangers, mash and beans and loads of Worcester sauce. Yum. Tomorrow is another day.
