Happy Sunny Summery Sunday and a very beautiful day it has been. One of those days when you don't want to drag yourself away from the garden, not even to eat.
Yesterday was my day to tidy Bed 24, the raspberry cage, but I got a bit carried away and dismantled the cage instead. I've been busy weeding and playing about there today with the help of the pups and chooks, and it was a joy to be out in the warm sunshine. Starting to feel a lot like spring has arrived.
Wonderfully light tonight too - the chooks went to bed about 8 which is a big advance on their 4.30 bedtime in January. Feel like curling up beside them and having a nap myself.
You all seem to have had a good day too - wishing you the same for tomorrow.

Morning Crew, it's sunny here this morning 4.8 degrees C in the greenhouse at the moment but as soon as that sun comes round I will have to go and open the door as it will soon get too warm in there for my babies.

I'll take my babies out to the greenhouse as usual, then put the hoover round (why do peeps still say this even though it's a Dyson? ) hopefully by then it'll be warm enough to go play on the plot, if not I have pile of ironing and a dvd to watch while I'm doing it
Have a good'un!

Mornin n'alln'all
Thought I'd posted earlier but it doesn't seem to be here!
Dry day ahead followed by a week of rain....apparently ... so I'm going to get out there and do some very gentle clearing up and make the most of it!
The air smells lovely and fresh...just hope it's not too cold on the fingers!
Have a great day peeps...for those of you 'working'... tis only a 4day week !
See ya later..."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Good morning all.
We have another bright and sunny day.
I may be very foolish but I am going to plant my potatoes out today.
I have had the ground covered with plastic for several days now so it should be warm enough.
Hopefully the beast from the east won't come back and kill them.
They are well ready and need to go in the ground.
Have a good day in the garden all.

Good afternoon, and it is a good afternoon, suns out and warm, though there was quite a keen frost overnight -3c decided to empty my rubble bag that I had filled with several bags of seaweed along with all the shredded plants and bushes I lifted out last year I am making a box for the bag with decking boards, but had to put the job on hold as I am watching my four grandsons just now, they are no bother, as I have removed my hearing aid, its times like this I feel sorry for folks without a hearing aidit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
