A voucher for a beauty salon to have a manicure and pedicure.
    A day at a spa.
    Tickets to a show.
A midweek break, not as expensive as the weekend,
A years subscription to something that she is interested in.
Afternoon tea in an upmarket hotel.
    A champagne brunch.
    Flowers, chocolates .

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Really good socks are not cheap in comparison with bog standard jobs. But well worth it for a gift.
That's good. My brother has a circulation problem and a couple of years a go there was a thread where several grapes recommended some thermal socks that actually work. Could a kind grape please remind me of the thread or brand

      Edit: It's ok I've found it http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...cks_76994.html

Snobby female relative who doesn't think anything is worth having unless it has an upmarket or designer label. Don't even go down the homemade route.

Does she think she has taste? theatre tickets or any art events that can be supported. Magazine subscription fashion or interiors
Unfortunately if she is just snobby and nothing is good enough than a mirror is about all I can think of - a nice shabby chic one or one that says love yourself you could always make a label or possibly chat someone up for one she probably doesn't know how to tell something as genuine.

Edit: I think I might need some Christmas spirit

Make a donation to a charity that she might support and tell her that, since she has everything already, you're supporting a charity in her name.

Either go with the flow and pick something from a shop/designer she frequents (with gift receipt in case it’s not to her taste)
Or go for something where ‘designer’ doesn’t exist - perhaps an RHS AGM plant for the garden, or a roasting joint from an organic locally grown grass fed rarebreed animal (our local farm shop has a waiting list of several months for a piece of one of their prizewinning longhorn cattle!), perhaps with delayed delivery date so she doesn’t have to eat it on boxing day ;-)

Do they have a garden? Maybe some bulbs to go under the lawn (you could provide a free planting service too)
Any foods where the allergies and illnesses wouldn’t be a problem? Nice marmalade, jam, cheese, biscuits?
Something like a board game or jigsaw? I have seen jigsaws centered on a particular postcode or photo of your choice

Unfortunately they like flowers but won't grow them. Veg or nowt! I did think I might get round it if a plant had their name in but no luck. Just incase the idea helps anyone else though First names that also occur in plant names
Food I do token bits but I am so out of touch. Shared my oldests birthday cake and that kept two of them awake . Made flapjack only to discover my Dad hasn't been able to eat oats for 12months.
I do like the idea of a photo jigsaw - no idea if any of them would do it though https://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/home...1#page=details

For the folk that you dont know what to buy for them A Cooking Lesson at a local Cook School, they usually have varied menus to cover most culinary choices
for the hard to please, a present from a junk shop with an antique label on it
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sounds like a £5 Wilko voucher would do the job , she might enjoy spending it when nobodys looking ..??

For the snobby person, a notebook. Something like Moleskine or Ted Baker. Branded but not outrageously expensive.
