"Given the morphing ability of the panettone", Rary chimed in, for he always had his wits about him, "I'd put my money on Steve McQueen."

VC decided against adding her penny's worth, though she imagined that's all that Rary would bet. But having already got into trouble with Rary over lending and saving, she kept stum.

As Nicos said that there was a hissing followed by a burble coming from the Tardis control panel. Dials were spinning for no reason.

The Tardis with all its brave passengers started to lurch and then bounce until it finally............

............heard that the Escape was made by bike and pedalled over on her tandem. "Allo, Allo, Stevie ma cherie, voulez vous pedallez avec moi sur ma bicyclette pour deux?"
VC muttered about living in France for so many years and still Nicos couldn't parlez Francais.
Snoop approahed, wearing her best smile and beamed - Let me help you with that and..........

...promptly phoned the pompiers...who, as we all know.....

...would put a grin on any Grapette's face.....but Snoop had been let into Nicos's secret about them....their very, very, special skills only known to her, Santa and Dr Who.....

before Nicos could say another word, whipped off Steve McQueen's helmet and his Stella McCartney dress. And indeed, just as Lumpy had suggested, it was indeed the Master...

Quick as a flash, the pompiers grabbed VC's handbag and threw it over the Master's head, then grabbed the Stella McCartney dress and threw it over Cadalot's feet. For which he was very grateful, though the pink didn't really go with the blue of his toes.

"Howzat?" they cried as one. Which rather confused the cricketers among the Grapes who had never heard French people speaking English.

The contents of VC's bag went flying. But the Master was well and truly trapped, and Nicos felt that the pompiers had vindicated her descriptions of their skills despite the clashing colours of the dress and Cadalot's feet.
