Before you take any thing off Janie, could you get me a drink please, Snoop will tell you the name of that one she got me the other day, it was quite a nice wee drink, its one those that you can drink all day without it effecting youit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Ah LD, have you tried any of the different flavours that are out now, if so name the one you would like and I will get it for you but whatever you do don't tell anyone elseit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sadly one of the branches of the Great Oak in the village green had fallen during the storms....

He went into a dark corner, which was basically any corner of the GR, as the proprietors don't spend a lot of money on lighting,where he intended to cover himself with the blanket in the hope he would not be spotted when they were locking up, though this was just to save some energy ad he has a secret way of getting into the GR, but with all the work at the tree this could be a problem, and if any one discovered him in the corner he could pretend to be a ghost and frighten themLast edited by rary; 04-01-2018, 08:55 AM.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Meanwhile, Snoop went behind the bar, got LD her coffee and Baileys (ordinary flavour) and made Rary his Caipirinha, amazed at his ability to knock them back and not be affected given that the rum was 40º proof. Perhaps he'd pickled his liver in Scotch. Not her business, but anyway, his drink was ready.
"Here you go, Rary", She called. No answer.
"Rary, your Caipirinha's ready", she shouted.
Suddenly, a ghost loomed out of the corner, making her, LD and Janie nearly faint with fear...Comment

Snoop was sure hers wasn't the only heart pounding by this time. "Nice cup of tea, anyone?" she suggested.
"Good idea", said Rary. But I'll have that piranha first. Waste not, want not and all."
"Where is everyone?", Cadalot asked.
"All gone off in search of Flumpy and Lumpy", said LD. "And they left because the head of the herd was sick".
"Well", Cadalot said. "Let's get the kettle on and have that cup of tea. They're all sure to come back. After all, the GR is due to close soon and nobody will want to miss last orders, even Flumpy and Lumpy."
So that's what they did. Talullah even found some chocolate digestives well within their eat-by date - one of the miracles of the parallel universe in which the GR exists - and Snoop, who loved chocolate digestives, decided that she could be trusted.
