  • How do your pets react to snow?

We didn't see Hibou's first reactions to snow as she was about 9 months old when we got her...but she'll happily trot out into it...stop , then dash under one of our parked cars or the table on the patio and just sit and watch it for hours.

the chooks play 'follow my leader'and make a few tracks in the snow which they all walk through.
We have 5 chooks which had never seen snow until this morning...and yup..they were last out of the henhouse and didn't venture far

When we had our Bichons they loved it...only trouble was their fur collected the snow and they became huge snowballs themselves, took ages to defrost them! Going to miss that this year.

Our cat jumped up and down as if he were on springs.
He couldnt understand why his legs kept sinking down into it.
Back arched up and didnt want to have any hand act or part in it.
          So funny to watch him.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

She dashes out as soon as the door is open enough, as usual - then pulls up sharpish with a startled "who put this here?" look and then skedaddles back inside.
She much prefers to watch it from behind the double glazing
              Can't say I blame her

My two sit on the doorstep looking at it and I have to push them off. Once in it they love it!
