I find my silicone bun tin good but the loaf tin is a bit too flimsy and I end up supporting it with a tin tin so as to give it some support or else I get a saggy shaped loaf. I think the more expensive ones have more stiffeners but mine doesn't and is better used as a liner. Still saves on washing up though and is easy to turn out.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I make a lot of indian food from scratch and grind flax seed (fresher that way) so a grinder is an essential. Silicone stuff - spatulas, muffin moulds cake moulds etc save lining and scrubbing!
can anyone reccomend a good blender - mine is very narrow at the bottom so it very difficult to get stuff out of the bottom?

I agree that silicone items are great - spatulas and those baking things, muffin moulds quiche moulds etc. Avoids lining and scrubbing.

Still getting on well with your Bamix Piglet?
I think when we went to the Food and Drink show at the NEC and watched the demonstration, the demonstrator could see SOLD stamped across my forehead halfway through the demonstration!!
As you say, not the cheapest gadget on the market, but worth every penny!!
