Seeing my son at the weekend....and him bringing me two big bags of potting compost , a bottle of wine and a gin and lime Easter egg ,then he took all of us out to dinner.And then told me we was going to the pictures to see ,Ready player one.

I think someone told him i was upset that i didn't get a card for mothers day....it would of been cheaper .
but i did have a lovely time.

Absolutely!...feeling the sun on my back yesterday whilst weeding was utterly bliss...can't wait to get out there and do more today!

Went on an 18 mile walk today. Too shattered now to mow the lawn (again) or get anything else done gardening-wise, but it was good to see so many trees in bud, flowers blossoming, wildlife emerging etc. Burned lots of calories too (depending on the calculator I use, anywhere from 1300 - 1450 on top of my BMR!)

I took my exercise today, taxi to club with my lady, then gave my right arm a really good workout with 3 pints of good ale.

I’m happy because last night I got two steroid injections into each shoulder. I was dreading it and now it’s over. I’m looking forward to some pain free gardening. A bit high on codeine at moment as it gets worse before it improves. So a good excuse for spelling mistakes or other rantings.

For two and a half months now a tenant has been fobbing off the gas inspection by telling everyone he is being messed about the gas supply companies and does not have a gas supply until they sort it out.

So no heating or hot water since just after Christmas, "What do you suggest Potty?" asked the agent. So I rang him from their office "Has your gas supply been renewed?, No, oh OK our engineer will call tomorrow and disc the meter for your own safety"

Guess what British gas are calling tomorrow and we go Thursday........ I just love winkling out liar's.

My worms are looking happy and seem to be munching through everything they are being fed. I'm up to alternate day feedings now and starting to really see some castings building up.

By dint of detective work, another 1.5hr round trip drive and polite pushiness (I'm not at all like that by nature) tracking down 7yo's lost comfort toy.

Whether he remembers it in the morning or not, right now I am that supreme of all superheroes... You know: a mother.
