Hearing the frogs croaking last evening for the first time this year. There must be hundreds of them! Tis amazing that they all stop at the very same instant.
How on earth do they know?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

It's been a bad week as bad news really does come in three's but what makes me happy is my tiny garden.
The bees are flying around, everything has leaves or buds, the sun is shining and I'm full of excitement over what this or that clump of something is.
I notice differant bits everytime I go out there.
It's soothing for the soul!I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Super shiny, silky smooth car. Love it when it gets rain on and they form little water blobs as well. I think it is because it is such a novelty for my car to be in that state
Sun has arrived for the 2nd day this year. Hope it sticks around this time.
Girls happy as all their seeds are sprouting
My dahlias are sprouting (even if I should have forced them sooner)

Got my hair cut. It's a bit (!!!) shorter than I wanted (fine at the back, but she suddenly lopped it much shorter in the front), but at least it's done and it will grow out...
Managed to sneak past the rather intimidating mass of opposing football supporters and police officers/horses on my way out of the hairdresser (I think this is why she chopped it a bit short - we were all distracted by what was building up outside).
Wandered into town and bought some flower seeds (to companion plant in some of my containers) and some seed trays/gravel trays to plant lots of pea-shoots and salad in (as my last few attempts in improvised containers really haven't done well at all.
Hmm, maybe those are less "makes me happy" and more "satisfactoryish outcomes". But the lovely blue skies definitely cheered things up
