    • ^^^^Rhubarb for breakfast - now there’s an idea
Ours isn’t quite big enough for picking yet, thanks to our northern climes, but definitely something to look forward to in the next couple of weeks!

      • Also very happy to realise I may be just a couple of weeks away from my first ever rhubarb harvest! I was very good last year and left it alone to do its thing as a newly planted crown. Not expecting to get loads this year (it's container grown) but I'd be happy with enough for a few single-lady-sized rhubarb crumbles

Also very happy that my mushroom kit is showing signs it is getting ready for a third flush.

Built as promised by our volunteer site manager because he's lovely and because he likes people who turn up and graft.

That means a properly big garden centre . Very exciting not been to one for years.

                          • 4 bags of jack magic compost, 2 pairs of gloves, a pair of snips, 2 bottles of tomato feed, 120 mixed onion sets, a nice little lemon thyme & a sweet potato plant.
That was a good day trip

                            • Actually came across a proper, old fashioned calm, smiling non-bossy nurse at the hospital today (as opposed to normal overweight officious do as I say not as I do wannabe doctor of limited intelligence who winds me up to the point of wanting to thump her).

Unbelievably even blood pressure was normal...............wow
