              • I'm slowly getting last weeks 3 bad news events either sorted or rationalisez.

                The sun...................

                30 Marigolds for a fiver.

Freaky dog has responded OK to her pill for liver failure so she'll get a bit more time.

And, now, I know this sounds like it should be on the rant thread but I've seen today how my OH's demnetia has been sneaking up on me without me being fully aware of how restricted he now is. Its good because I can plan and make allowances for the bits I was'nt aware of.

                • Watching the Greenfinches nesting in the bay tree beside the GH.

Robin is still sitting on her nest in the flowerpot.

Tomatoes in final positions on the GH shelf.

Its beginning to feel a lot like Summer,

Happy to have taken in the mower I broke and get it back within 24 hrs ( a belt had jumped off a pulley so was easy to repair...and he serviced it at the same time!...good man )
Happy to have got the lawns cut before our guests arrived.
Just happy to have dry weather after such a looooong winter!

Mummy. So and so was mean, he said I was stinky because I didn't have a bath. I told my teacher and told her I had a bath last week. (bless her, will be glad when she uses tomorrow and yesterday in her sentences).

                        • I’ve been reading a book that included a section on shallots.

What a lovely surprise as i’d assumed they were like onions. But no. They bunch and more importantly are expensive to buy.

So, in a flower bed i shall acquire some bulbs and have a go. It might be late but hey ho!

Now, where the ell am i going to shove em?
