Bit of a rubbish day in work today, especially after my late night yesterday. We were busy, very short-staffed, there were lots of interruptions and it was ridiculously hot. By 5pm, I was feeling very shaky and exhausted.
So why is this not a rant?
Because, as I was trying to pull myself together to finish the day's tasks without doing anything daft, someone appeared behind me and offered me a chocolate bar. Just what I needed! My colleagues are great

The birth of my grandson today.
Been to visit and of course, he is beautiful.
My other grandchildren range in age from 12 upwards so this is a bonus.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Whey Hey.....
I’m now the proud owner of an outside tap.
Such a pretty, dainty thing.
Des (the plumber) was lovely and more importantly affordable. I’d been quoted £160 and he did it for far less.
Aren’t plumbers wonderful things?
