Im really happy as someone was kind enough to get my purse back (with my car, allotment and house keys inside) my son threw it out of the trolley when i wasnt looking and it landed in a box, which someone then lifted and put in their trolley, until the staff seen them on CCTV and asked for it. Id like to think not on purpose, but you never know.Comment

I've finally made some caramelised spiced pumpkin seeds. After 2 years of pumpkins producing flat / unpollinated ? Seeds. I'm very happy. They're not going to last long

Am happy to be feeling less tired,the curtains came this AM,went out last night,MR had to agree hehehehe,had a nice mild curry ext,was nice to be waited on and just chill out,so had a good sleep last night,aaaahhhhh.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

Just watching the Opening of The Invictus Games in Australia.
I don’t watch the Olympics but think The Invictus (and Paralympics) need as much support as possible.
I’ve heard the stories from the Middle East from my son. The military really deserve our thanks and appreciation.

Local farmer has given me a HUGE pile of strawy cow manure!!!
It smells divine. It’s five or six months old so getting there.
I have multiple beds including two new 2.3metre square ones to spread it on.
Also might pop some in a large box and add some compost worms.
I am ridiculously happy.Comment

Went and had a look at the well. Thought it might be a bit too soon to be optimistic but there it was: silty water (and sadly a couple of drowned frogs). The level is bound to subside over the next few weeks, but it's there in the system.
