Seed potatoes are in here. Looking at them on Saturday and they have a great selection.

I popped into a well known garden shop in Dublin town centre today - and they had all their seed potatoes on display. Quite a few I've never heard of.

I never got any, was wanting to wait till next month - I hope I don't regret that.

It's the lady's birthday to day, this is one of her presents from the lad, a pot plant complete with a nodding dog stand, she was tickled pink with it.

New hot wire cutter arrived and for once it does exactly what it says on the tin.....

Buying 12.5kg of huge spuds (Electra) for £1, reduced because the paper sack was ripped. Even better, they were in a plastic packing crate that I could keep. Its going to make a perfect planter for carrots or summat.
Not sure whether I'm happier about the spuds or the crate.

Ordering a new washing machine online Friday afternoon, delivered 07.15 am Saturday morning.
Our local C***ys said 3 weeks for the same model. Got the same price too.

Peace of mind........ let the weather do its worst, or the summer never come on our mountain top - now I know we're going to be okay in the home we love so much now to go clean out the *#!@ fireplace

Dental check-up with nothing to do or pay - come back in 6 months ...........and we chatted about gardening, chickens and manure. To his credit, he didn't bat an eyelid when I jumped up and down 'cos I was so happy, nor did his receptionist.

The dental nurse helping out my dentist Kat (she's Norwegian) today who explained to her in gory detail why many people my age are scared witless of the dentist....................school dentists (not all I presume).
