I'm happy with myself because I'm a brave old neffalump. Yesterday I went all on my own and had 2 teeth out.

I arrived about 1.45 while they were still at lunch but the kind receptionist took pity (and probably knew I was planning an escape) and let me into the warm.

Kat, my lovely Greek dentist has promised to take me with her if she ever decides to leave - she IS that good. Told OH I was going to run off with the dentist and all he said was OK but you can take the dogs as well - bless him.

Last night I facethymed with my Grandson who has a thing about dinosaurs. It has been agreed upon that the next time he comes here I will chase him with knashers in hand pretending I'm a Velociraptor.

The joy at watching him tell his M&D was priceless.

I'm not happy that it's snowing and freezing cold, so I can't be out in the garden - but I am happy that I got D/G windows fitted this year so can get the house warm enough at last! (Saving up for the last bit, the front door - but curtain working well for now )

Very happy that I can afford heating and food, unlike some..

That people around here are exceptionally kind when it really, really counts. (Storms, snow, car accidents)

My very exciting day trip was going to fort William to get lot of chicken feed and bales of shavings.

(The mystery of it sounded better didn't it )

Hope you and yours are all ok NG

Oops, didn't mean the snow, storms and accident all together. Hubby got stuck last night but 3 blokes from different vehicles all got stuck in to help. I also found out someone else got stuck yesterday not far away and 5 different people helped him. So yeah, all good (in the end). Just nice to see and hear that people are out there helping strangers that aren't the other side of the country.

                      • I'm happier cos the forecast for here shows rising temperatures from tomorrow they won't be spring-like yet but warmer than this week's have been.
That's got to be an improvement, hasn't it!

                        • I'm happy because all my family, friends and neighbours have all kept in touch and are safe and sound throughout this awful weather, so far, long may it stay that way.
Also happy because i locked myself in the garage and have finished my Light/grow box 2 and can 'carry on planting regardless'

No more collecting buckets from the burn (until next time it freezes)

                              • I may be the only one on here who has enjoyed the snow. It has been lovely with the girls and the days/ part days where I am not worrying about if hubby is alright as he is at home. Been out on the sleigh this morning (yes me included), built a snow man family (it is sticky snow today - yay!) and the girls and Daddy had a snow ball fight. Guess that is it for another 5-10 years, but it has been fun.
