  • Seeds and spuds are in the delivery van. They'll get here some time today.

Oh, and Mr Snoop is seeing the municipal architect today about what permit we might need to get a garage built this year. At last!

    • ^The seeds and spuds are still in the van, apparently. So no delivery today by the look of it. Hope it's not too cold tonight...
But, Mr Snoop's meeting with the architect went well. So that's good news. Looks like we'll have a garage this summer.

            • Out for dinner tonight with my daughter and then on to the Erasure concert which was cancelled in January.
What a great night, they just get better and better.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

              • What's making me happy this morning is the French seed and spud company! The transport company tried to deliver my seeds and spuds to the billing address, not the delivery address. Phone the seed company in France and get through almost immediately to a lovely woman who sorts it out in next to no time. And that despite the fact that I couldn't spell my name properly because I haven't needed to use the French alphabet for ooh... 35 years! Last time I had to use a seed company customer service phone line was a UK company. A very different experience, and that because although we were speaking the same language, they weren't listening to the problem. So, three cheers for nice French ladies at efficient French companies.

Can you imagine some poor bod having to get up at 4 every morning to try and milk the vicious little bluffers? Hee Hee Hee

                        • Only putting on 2lb of the stone I lost. The illness diet - I don't recommend it but it is nice something good can come of it. (I do have more than enough excess weight before anyone panics or gets ideas).

Being illness free for the first time in 6 weeks, must be spring.

                          • Lots to make me happy today!

-Our computer and printer are finally both up and running
-We collected our repaired car yesterday (€2,000)..nope, not going to moan about the cost
-Collected loads of free plants for our seed and plant swap.
-we have 3 extra volunteers helping out at the seed swap..(and one of them bakes fantastic cakes!)
-Hibou is finally running around like a kitten again after 2years of not being well following being hit by a tractor.
-my back pain (after 7weeks ) has reduced enough for me to start coming off the very strong painkillers...yippeeee...(and yep...I'm going to be very, very careful)
-the garden is covered with yellow dots ..don't ya just love daffs ?
-I have loads of seedlings to chat to! ...
-Two more lbs and I will have lost a stone in weight!

Amongst lots of rubbish going on in my life at the moment, there are clearly lots of uplifting things to concentrate on

Not quite as happy-making as your things, Nicos. But I'll take it as a victory nevertheless!
