Just listening to the first birdcall of the morning.
It's still quite dark but there's a full moon and the garden and surrounding fields have a lovely silvery grey look about them.

My wife bought a pair of curtains today and they are a perfect match for the wall she was wanting painted, ya beuuuuty

We've been swimming/boogie boarding in the loch for three days in a row, yesterday we were there at 7pm. Such a rare occurrence.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!

Today a group of gardeners were asked a simple question and for the first time in living memory they all .......AGREED and provided the same answer.

The RHS have been advised of the situation and are conducting an enquiry

watering at the allotment with the hose and nobody else being around until way after I was done,meaning that it had good pressure, best watering time ever normally it's just a trickle

Made 16 pots of jam this evening once it'd cooled down weatherwise.
Late evening meal and just come indoors after nattering away by candlelight with tawney owls nattering away between themselves!
Felt like a proper warm French summers evening...with no damp falling.
Could get used to this!!,

Just worked out my over winter frozen chilli sales will pay for the next round of aphid killer (ladybird larvae ).
Also this years plant sales will pay for a new pair of le Chameau wellies
