Friend from the allotment gives me his top-of-the-range (though 8 years old) 46 inch Sony TV.
It had its front panel replaced 4 and a half years ago and its other gubbins 4 years go - so its pretty much 4 years old! Works perfectly - great picture and sound!

You would have to ask Nicos exactly how long but the Gardeners Rest will (I hope unless its run off the same as the VVS) be less than 100 days till opening............................off to find some extra large buttock padding just in case the balistic pointy is fired in my direction.

My big new batteries, inverter and freezer are all working as hoped. Won't always be the case on dull days, but all good at the moment, against Mr Snoop's expectations.

I thought I was getting a bargain at wilkos with all their seeds knocked down to half price. Got to the checkout and discovered they’d knocked them all down to 10p a packet!
Then spent a few hours pottering in the GH whilst it rained outside, sowing winter salads, and some experimental stuff from my 10p bargains

Got my home back to myself. Visitors all gone.

My granddaughter just received her junior cert results today.
She got 8 honours and 1 pass.
She is beyond delighted.

Had a little accident at B&Q. Am now the proud owner of a second gooseberry bush (a green one, to complement my existing red one) and a kiwi plant (I presume a kiwi issai, though the labelling is very poor with no named variety). £3 each, so not too bad I thought. I resisted the cherry plum, japanese quince, other varieties of gooseberry, the golden/black raspberries and the blueberry...
