  • New, shiney and very cheap 3 in 1 printer set up and rocketing away on a small forest of stuff needed.

OK I did have to delete the first lot I installed, try the iPad (don't get on with it but it is such a lovely music system) and tried a re load...................................................comp geeks all around the world would be really proud of my determination to press buttons to see what happens.

          • Lovely sunny day.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

              • I've just pulled 2 socks from a pile of 14 almost identical black socks - the only differences being that they have slightly different colour bands at the ankle and they are printed on the sole with a day of the week.
For the first time ever, I've picked out 2 that match and are for the right day, Sunday.
I like the randomness of wearing odd socks on the wrong days, but today I'm feeling very conventional and, its a bit unsettling.

                    • Just fed my worms for the first time in a few days and there has been a massive population explosion. Can't quite believe how many new little worms there are. I wonder if it's been too warm for them over the summer and all the eggs they've laid have just suddenly hatched now it's a bit cooler (it's an indoor wormery, so not getting too chilly just yet).

                      • Had an exceptional bargain-full yellow sticker day. 49 items for £12.26 and I was overcharged for one but couldn't complain as everything else was so cheap.
Whole, uncooked, chickens down from £4 to 40p. I bought 3!
Half a duck with hoisin sauce and pancakes £7 to 35p.
Lots of chicken portions about 30p.
Just opened some chicken wings for the dogs - there were 8 in the box for 17p.
Unusually, quite a lot of veggie stuff down from £2 to 10p.

Dogs, family and me very satisfied with the trolley-load.

                              • My Mum came home from hospital today after 10 weeks. She has very limited mobility and will have to spend her days either in a chair or in bed but to see the smile on her face when she sat in her own chair for the first time after so long, made me realise how happy she was to be back in her home again.
I've spent today meeting her new carers and the Continence nurse who was amazing. The first thing she said was "Can I use your toilet, I'm bursting".

You probably haven't noticed but I haven't posted much in the last 10 weeks as I've been hospital visiting, but I can do a bit of catching up now.
