I've been yellow stickering again - just have to decide what to do with 24 avocados, 16 huge oranges, 3 bags of carrots, 2 heads of fennel and a swede in a pear tree.

Pity it wasn't a Mexican in the pear tree they could have helped with all those avocados!

I've fancied trying this. You could give it a go!

Happy (more like relief) that the year is drawing to a close. It's been a tough year in many ways so finding small happinesses in daily life is going to be my new year's resolution for 2019.

Good resolution. I'm hoping to do more counting my blessings. Plenty to be grateful for if I look. Best wishes for 2019.

Unbelievably my new phone!!!! For several years (since my little old pink mobile died) I have been using one of my husband's old mobiles, an ancient Nokia and had no interest in getting a smartphone.
On Christmas Eve the aforementioned ancient Nokia had a fight with the vacuum cleaner while sat on the floor charging and lost!
My husband said I'll get you a new 'phone as a Christmas present. On Boxing Day I became the owner of a Samsung Galaxy J6+, a pretty random selection as in the end I said to the assistant what would you buy if you were me.
I have used other peoples smartphones on a few occasions and wasn't impressed with them but this seems to have been made to work with my (weird) brain.
I've even got it to connect to the printer.
It seems you can teach an old dog new tricks after all!!!
I might even check my emails more than once every 3 months now.

Got through to surgery second attempt.

Got appointment for B12 shot from nurse 11:20 today!

Really thankful for good friends who are there for you in your moment of need. I'll never forget it.

And gp practice rang to say that my hospital appointment will be next week rather than the 3 months waiting list I was told last week. Really pleased.
