                  Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

When I worked in a major high street retailer .... we got our Xmas stock in July, started putting it on shelves in August. So, the seasonal season actually lasted 7 months of the year, only finishing after the January sales. I still can't enjoy Xmas, its just a great big commercial exercise

Quite agree Two sheds. Trouble is that Christmas isn't special any more. We can get all the Christmas "goodies" all year round, there's nothing left to look forward to.

i agree with the whole 'stuff in the shops too early business', but love christmas! i think christmas is what you make it, you don't have to spend a fortune, i don't like the whole queues a mile long and shopping trollies overladen with food you don't eat! at the end of the day the supermarkets are open xmas eve and boxing day, you won't starve for the sake of one day! i know years ago the shops were shut over christmas and therefore that is why people stocked up, but people are carried away with it now. how many times have we seen the child play with the box the gift came in and not the actual gift. i enjoy christmas and make a fuss of it but only in a aimple way, i think give kids too much choice and they don't know what to do
