If when you say coke (I've heard some people say 'coke' when they are referring to all sodas or all colas.) you're referring to Coca Cola I completely agree. I can't drink the stuff.

I also agree with you about Starbucks. I've bought a bag of their coffee and made it at home. It's okay that way but the way they make it in their coffee shops is disgusting. (I'm not familiar with Costa.)

Is Camp coffee similar to Postum?

I think it's chicory pretending to be coffee DW, but I've only ever smelled it - never tasted!

Just to join in with this foray into tastes..................

Normally 2 mugs of coffee (milky) in the morning unless I'm up at daft o'clock and then its 3.

Only drink tea when out as they never do the coffee right for me and I can control the tea strength. My Mom always made tea strong enough to stand a spade in. It wasn't just 'builders tea it was building company tea - shivers with the memory of scraping tannin off my teeth.

I don't have coffee when out particularly after the menu board of a well known coffee shop stumped me completely (a bit like the pyramid thread at the moment). So, I don't drink lattefrappimochachocadingydongyfloosyfloppy chinos.

Rest of the day is with several glasses of tonic water, preferably the real Shh you know who stuff as they use real quinine. I frequently get a bit decadent and add lemon or lime juice to give it that party feeling.

.......because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo.

Is that why I don't like the cheap stuff? I thought it was because it had a "hard" fizz....fever tree tonic water is delicious has soft bubbles and a lovely taste and I'm sure also mentions quinine. My Nan used to drink tonic water, she said it stopped her hands from getting cramp?!

I usually drink tonic water in a pub if I'm driving. Don't you hate it when, having asked for a tonic, they look you up and down and ask "Slimline?".
