I know what the score was and that England won - but I don't understand why you feel the need to "patronize" twice.
Wales lost, that's all there is to say.
By tagging <patronize> some stuff </patronize> I am indicating that everything between the two (some stuff) is 'patronizing' - my intention (if not fully realised) is to give the impression that I am dyed in the wool Englisher - though my comment about the national anthem is perhaps an indicator that I am not.
For family and friend historic and current reasons I take particular pleasure in English wins in rugby over Wales - whilst we are not family I thought that you were aware of my predilection for teasing the Welsh if England win.
Were Gavin Hasting's still around on telly I'd be concentrating on Scotland.

1574 gin and tonics please Monica, large ones.
Congratulations on winning yesterday, Trip.
Burnie's admonitions are nothing to do with you, its Baldy and I who cannot play nice.
Baldy has this constant need to make fun of Wales and anything Welsh. He may get away with it with "family and "friends" but I am neither.
I'm proud of being Welsh and of my country. When we win, we celebrate, when we lose, we keep going and aim for a better result next time. I don't need to be "patronized" by people who think they are superior because they won a game of rugby.
I'll play nice now that I've said my piece.
Have a nice day!
Ok I see..Was browsing the Vine last night and jumping from thread to thread so wasn't picking up much along the way
Seen Burnies post straight after my one in which he mentions "family forum" and wondered why he was replying to me like that..
Is a game at the end of the day and not worth getting too upset...obviously VC you will now speak to the Welsh team and instruct them to not scupper Ireland when they play so that we can deny the pesky English
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
