I didn't read the blurb in the text.
Nicest route to get there is via Spittal of Glenshee from South.
Look out for signs saying "Lambs don't know highway Code" in the spring... perhaps -- Look out for the Lambs
Once up there you need to nominate a driver and do a tour... Big House, distillery, Big House, Distillery heading towards Huntly and then Ellon, with final destinations - Glendronach Distillery,
Fyvie Castle and Brew Dog Brewery. Could pop into a Big Garden or 2 -- Pitmedden on way back to Aberdeen and Pop in past Burnie on the way doon the road. Might be a big house or 2 near by.
