      Got all the know it alls involved and possibly tried to capture the huge beast for a relocation somewhere else.
      Its a shame that an animal has to die because of its threatening nature.

      I understand that people were scared but all creatures deserve a right to exist no matter what they are as we, as humans are the greatest preditors of all and need to accomodate our other life forms.

        Unfortunately, if the snake was in a residential area there may be lots of dogs and cats that no longer exist.

        EDIT Maybe it wasn't so big after all.

          Phew! that's a bit of a relief! Still, 7 feet is still an awful lot of snake.
