good luck Jennieatkinson with your produce.
I have delivered my produce to the show. Tomorrow is D Day. Nervious now. Need lots of wine to calm me nerves.

Any news from Jennieatkinson or is she still hung over from celebrating..?

I've finally managed to get my photos onto the pc - batteries went dead last night and only just managed to find a shop open for "camera" batteries. Not too sore a head this morning

Hope you don't all think this is showing off, but it 's lovely to share it all with you.

      The trophies were:

Most points in the Arts & Crafts Section (I was staggered at this one)
1st (SWRI 90th Anniversary Card), 1st (Any Other Craft), 2nd (Item from recycled materials), 3rd (Wooden Article), Highly Commended (Jewellery)

Most outstanding Exhibit in the Arts & Crafts Section (that one bowled me over completely!)
for my Memories Book of Fair Isle

Chairmans Choice (again completely bowled by this one as it is her choice from the whole show - and it was a big show!)
      for SWRI 90th Anniversary Card

I also got a third in the Nasturtiums and another 3rd and Highly Commended in the Knitting. Another time I will try items in the produce section - mine would not have been anything up to the scratch of the other entries, but at least now I know how things are presented, like onions, carrots, etc.

Some photos to give you a flavour. These two were taken at the show:

      And these at home:

Thanks too for all your best wishes!

Best wishes and good luck to you Seasprout - let us know how you get on.

It does make you nervous doesn't it! I don't think I'll get the bug Sue and look for another show! I couldn't cope with the stress!

            Ho wow....

            My First show.
            Entered 3 sections

Heaviest potato and came 3rd out of 3 entries.
5 Onions grown as shown, out of 3 entries came 1st..!
Longest runner bean, out of 3 entries came 1st with a whopper

I have to go back in a bit to see what i've won, think it's about £1.30.

So chuffed, have really got the bug now.

The only thing I have harvested have been cucumbers and tomatoes and they only showing they got was the way to the tummy!

Congrats Jennie & Seasprout, it's great to see all the pics. The onions look really good Seasprout.
Jennie I love that book with the pics. of the puffins & fold-outs, is that your 'Memories of Fair Isle' entry. My half sister in Australia is really into making scrapbooks & memory books & is doing one about our family history.
I think you're both very brave entering your first show & glad you enjoyed it.
