I like this forum for the same reason I like dogs. They are always pleased to see you, never criticize, never complain, often make you laugh, are always there when you need company, enjoy being out in the garden, and ALWAYS, always cheer you up if you feel down in the dumps.
Love you guys.
I'm happy to go with this^^^...says it all really! Believe it or not I'm quite shy and would probably find it difficult to talk to you if I met you for the first time face to face but on here it's easy. You can ask any question no matter how daft and no one makes you feel silly. Lots of great advice and friendly banter. You can come on here and discuss not just gardening but any troubles you may have and there are always virtual hugs to make you feel you are not alone. Virtual friends indeed. Thanks everyone for being you!
Thats so kind of you Lumpy,it will help me also,as i only have little leggs,is it to be built into the floor,so peeps just stand in and press the button, with built in seats please,or are you not ready to reveal your design yet.

Could I suggest that, instead of raising the floor you lower the bar? Accessibility for all and the vertically challenged amongst us would not feel "different".
Maybe put your inventive talents to work out an automatic money extractor from the pockets and bags of customers who seem unable to find the cash themselves!
I like this forum because I learn from others, I can indulge in 'gardening' at my desk, it's full of lovely people, it's green on the screen and I get to share my modest growing accomplishments with people who (politely) understand and encourage.
What is needed IS,a bar with 3 heights,or 3 separate bars at 3 different hights,or a stepped bar,not sloping, maybe no planning permission needed, and can go ahead before opening time.

I think a lower bar may cause a few problems for those who are taller than the average elephant/chicken/seamstress.
They would end up with back problems so I'd have to design some kind of back support - maybe Cad with his mechanical clonkers could help?
I've also submitted a grant application to the lottie fund. I've based it upon community needs, jobs for the locals (e.g Trigger, Norman the Elf and Tullulah Troll our esteemed barmaid) and asked for enough money to give our listing (sorry meant listed) building a free bar this year.
Poof and small devil that looks just like Balders appears on Lumpys' right shoulder and whispers in her ear, "Go on, do it, do it you know you want too". Just then a small yoda type figure with a point stick appears on her left shoulder and says "DON'T DO IT, the moderators will not like it"
We all watch as Lumpys eyes are going backwards and forwards from left to right, as good and evil try and influence the poor little confused elephant......

Lumpy tried to stand still while her trunk was whipping from one side to the other.
Finally, after careful consideration she reached a decision and bellowed out into the interweb.........
I shall not be describing Cads saggy, swinging clonkers or showing anyone the photos as a mans choice in earrings is his own private business.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
