  • Silly question - what's a tuber/sprouter etc?

    Hi folks,

Hopefully this isn't a totally stupid question, but what is the difference between a seedling, sprouter, tuber, harvester etc as mentioned at the Membername bit on everyone's posts? Is it something to do with the type of growing that one tends to concentrate on, the length of time you've been a member, the number of posts or posts per day that the member makes? Or something else entirely?

As I said, a stupid question, but it was just making me curious (being a newbie to the vine).

Simplistically, it's to do with the number of postings you have.

Thanks guys - I think while I am hoping that the waistline becomes one, there's little fear of the rest of me being a "thinning"!

I'm glad someone asked, Winged One!
If a Tuber is stored for a while, does it become a Sprouter again?

And if some people fall out, does that make them 'droppings'?
