  • Hello all.

Yes, Rary, I was envious at all the recent reports of rain. Predicted amount of rain here is now up, over 60 litres. But, it's supposed to be raining now and the skies above us are blue. Just have to wait and see.

Hope you have a good trip, Nicos. And good luck with the shoes, FF. Me, I'm shod in three-year-old crocs. I've no idea how they've survived this long, as I wear them outdoors in summer and indoors in winter.

    Have a jolly day, everyone.

Edited to add: Have just had a look at another weather site (InAccuweather) and they're forecasting 120 mm of rain! Too good to be true. while it lasts; once it's over.

      • Mornings!
Just woken up, all groggy now - first deep sleep for a while, so needed it Slowly learning which exercises help my back and which ones make things worse, if that makes sense?
Grey skies but still quite mild so the door is open for the cat. That's stopped her moaning!
Indoors stuff to do, then - I might finally get to the bottom of the ironing pile
        Have a good'un

Never wear crocs, my favourite everyday footwear are sketches, so comfy.

              • Good afternoon, nice and bright with a fair bit of cloud today, had to scrape the car Windows this morning, but by 9 it had clouded over, but has broken up now, no garden work today as watching the boy's and all I seem to be doing is feeding them I did manage to get my car washed, and just worked through shouts of "can I have something to eat?" I think they are bottomless pits, a wee remember to anyone who forgets their shopping line, purse and so on-- its an age thing-- there is no way I am putting a name in there but I am sure the he person or persons concerned know who I mean

                  • Bought an agapanthus , two clematis and a variegated euonymus for my garden. Planted these and set to 'pruning' a huge rhododendron in my garden. Apart from a load of spare wood I had hidden at the back of it I also found a goodly portion of a dry stone wall and and loads of bricks. \the bricks I wheelbarrowed to the top of the garden to be used as foundation material when I move my shed there, and the stone I wheel barrowed to the house side of the garden where I will utilise it in some way.

Do people still have garden bonfires on November 5th? If so, I've got a monstrous pile of rhody offcuts, brambles and dog roses I need to get rid of!

                          • Good evening all. What a beautiful day. I should have been out in the garden but was in Sunny South Wales for a couple of days and have just got home. My son has my dogs for an unexpected extra night.

Haven’t looked at the weather forecast but I seem to have tomorrow hijacked by circumstances as well. There’s always the weekend. Laters.
