Mornin Flon'all
Just put a log on the fire -it kept in well overnight.
Croissants OK this morning Flo?
Help yourself she says , wiping crumbs from mouth
I was a very brave lass yesterday evening...we went for our flu jabs ...can't complain...the nurse was incredibly gentle and I can honestly say all I could feel was the cool of the vaccine as it had been stored in the fridge. Just goes to show that it shouldn't hurt if done 'properly'!
Throbs now though....
Not sure what today might bring...need to nip and check on friend's plumbing and electrical positioning for her new kitchen...and give her a piece of apple and ginger cake to chomp on.
More sewing I imagine....
See ya later peeps...keep walm, there's a cold spell-a-comin....."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornings!
Slept badly last night so grumpy with the cat this morning - it's drizzling and she keeps moaning to go out and then moaning to come back in again. So I've stopped opening the door for now... a Frazzled Friday?
Oh well, no gardening today then. Trying to work up the energy to go into town, change library books and post seeds, but body not cooperating so far
It sounds as if you're all having a better start than me, so have a good'un

Mornin flon'all
Xmas tree already Flo?...How do You keep it fresh for so long?
Hoping to get the last of the geraniums and chillies indoors before the cold snap hits this evening.
I managed to pick up some pansies to put in the window boxes,
(On top of the daff bulbs) for roughly 35p a plant .
The nursery had almost sold out , so I was lucky!
Anyone up to anything exciting this weekend?
I suspect I shall mostly be sewing!

My 2 pooches are off to my eldest sons for the duration. I was busy packing their bag and had gone to find Hollies special food/medication, stupidly leaving the open bag on the kitchen floor. I was only gone a few seconds but when I got back Prince was happily chucking everything out of it. Do you think he suspects something? Perhaps it was the appearance of the iron and my suitcase that did it.
I have nothing garden related that needs looking after and the few household plants are on capillary matting and being drip watered.
I will have my Ipad with me (crossword, book, newspaper, connection to the world). I've stayed in the same hotel before and they gave us 2 free hours of wifi after which it was 2 euros an hour. They now have free wifi so they've caught up with the rest of the world.
Another thing about my Ipad, the husband of the couple I'm going with has always taken the p155 about me having mine on holiday even after i explained that it saved me money and weight. He thought, and insisted that i only had it with me to keep in contact with people. He was given one as a present and now uses it the same way I use mine, so maybe now he won't be on my case."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
