Late arrival.. morning all. Just tipped minus 1 in the night, 4.8 and misty now.

All good here. Dog who had op is coping extremely well with the giant cone around her head. The other two dogs have discovered how to use the door handle to get out. Might have to see if we can change it for a knob! That might flummox them.

Afternoon all, busy morning running in and out between the rain showers, getting ready to go fishing again, wind has dropped from the 60 mph we had yesterday, no sign of this frost, but we do have some snow on the hills.

Really didn't fancy the ironing, yet, so had my 5th and final attempt at the rolling pin biscuits - using a recipe from the manufacturers. Still not good. They look good when rolled and ready to bake but by the time you take them out of the oven nah!
In a certain light you can just about see the reindeer design, that's as far as I'd go.

It'd be ok to emboss fondant icing for cake tops, so may use them for cupcakes this year, before they drop into the 'never used' part of my baking equipment drawer....

So to anyone who is tempted, my advice would be - don't bother, save your money

Fingers crossed we'll have sold our 24yr old Discovery today
Very sad to see her go as she's been a great workhorse/toy but she was a massive MOT fail .
This guy wants her for off-roading and seems chuffed to bits!
Lets see.....
