Mornings, nothing exciting here just same old routine, but as an OAP I'm still quite happy with that
Overcast this morning, but still warmish. Put washing out on the line, in my jamas before 7 and just carried on pottering outside. Came in thirsty to notice I'd out there for an hour or so, already
S'ok I'm dressed now and have my cuppa... Aaaah that's better.

Not much sleep last night, today is cancelled, kids and grandkids invade for a Barbie on Sunday, me being waited on with my foot up(funny how self inflicted pain is worse lol)

Good afternoon all.
Not doing anything very exciting but I have my sister staying with me and so we are out and about, visiting old memories and spending quality time.
AND, we are having scorching hot weather.

After a stocker of a day yesterday we've had drizzle followed by thunderstorms.
We both got stuck into mowing the field as the thunderstorm approached and just finished in time!

Managed to get a fair bit of paper work done this afternoon

Right...think we might have duck woth some veg from the freezer...best go and flamber into it head first to see what I can find!
Sorry about your leg Burnie...day by day eh?...does a hot water bottle help?

I'd intended doing a few tops whilst I was up there, got this close to Meikle Pap and my hamstring popped on my left leg.

So it was about face and limped all the way back down, what a mixture of emotions, but the worst is realizing the body won't do what I tell it to, I can barely walk now.

Sorry about the leg Burnie, as no doubt you will know you will have to rest it so tell your OH that you WILL NOT be doing any housework, and don't worry just pm. me the name of the hospital you land in and I will visit you

Just got back in for picking up GD from Glasgow she was at a concert in Hampden and it was bedlam trying to get out I feel as if I am getting too old for this, so dear knows how old folk like VC would cope with it. Goodnight
