A very hot day yesterday but a cold night last night. Plants won't have enjoyed it, but I'm sitting with the door still open, letting as much cool air in as possible before shutting the house up, and I really need a jumper and probably long trousers! Brilliant.

Cat curled up on the chair beside me again. Think she was there all night. Dogs being boisterous outside. They're obviously enjoying the cool as well.

Looks like a good day ahead. More work but the end of this project is in sight. Phew.

Morning Crew - Looks like an overcast start, I slept in so no early visit to the allotment this morning, I will pop over a little later, I need to bump into my neighbour around the corner who has offered to move my shed from one site to the other on his low loader for £25 which is cheaper than hiring a van. I have the base ready on my new plot for it's arrival

Morning everyone. I haven't been on for a bit been the usual busy self. Still cant do much at the allotment as the ground is like concrete. So dry its all cracking. Also been busy with work and running round after the kids, as per usual.
Have been up early getting jobs done so might sneak down to allotment in a bit for a cup of tea and a chat.

Morning crew, lovely warm sunny start to the day...tomorrow though has to be totally different so after a visit to the doc, which has taken a month to get an appointment, I’m going to enjoy the rest of the day. The ironing mountain can stay as it is for another day!

Mornings
Yesterday the Dr said I need a knee replacement op - bit of a shock to the system, but hey ho, worse things happen at sea, or so I've been told Took the afternoon to digest what this would actually mean, then did a bit of ironing

Today a plot visit is on the list, to check on the swedes I planted on Tuesday (hope the fox hasn't dug them up as I planted them with some chicken pellets) and probs plant some winter cabbage.
Afternoon plan is either garden or house tidying depending on the weather. There might be some rain in those clouds? Fingers crossed!

Thelma I have had both knees replaced and it had made quite a difference to me as now I can sleep the full night through without being woke up with sever pain, and though I was very young when I got mine done, I was told they prefer the patient to be a lot older, and yet I have never pictured you as being old enough for a replacement
