Hibou came bounding in , sopping wet , covered in mud , and plonked a dead vole on OH's chest!
She was soooo proud of herself

Hoping to get to market this morning ...might accidentally pick up some plug plants!

Morning all. Hammered it down yesterday but this morning it's misty, moisty and mild. Should get things growing (be good for the slugs too.. ha)

Morning Crew, looks like we are in for a day of thunderstorms and rain again here today, just by way of a change, I'm guessing the bottle on my comfrey pipe has filled up a couple of times since I topped it up on the weekend, I will have to see next visit.

I better go out and water the greenhouse before the rain comes, have a good one people whatever you end up doing

Supposedly no rain here till this afternoon. Somebody didn't tell the clouds that are starting to build up. Have started thinning out my direct sown cucurbits. Always feels a bit risky, more so in this kind of weather that's just perfect for snails.

Anyway, busy day ahead. Looking forward to next week when I won't be so overloaded with work. Might actually get some carrots and beetroots sown. Anyone else not planted their onions out yet?

I've been at my daughter's giving her cat food and cuddles as they're away on holiday, back just before the rain started!
Sadly then no allotment visit for me, after lunch, but at least I didn't get wet

PS. These adverts are very strange... they are making me feel hemmed in from all sides, very weird considering nothing has changed except the screen display

Why is there a moderators board showing when I come on to the Vine and why when it asks for comments on problems on the Vine it won't allow me to post, when I do come on, most of the time I have to sign on twice
